Established in 2010, Punj Corporation Private Limited (PCPL) is one of theonly private companies in India providing comprehensive Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) for a range of components/systems to Indian Military and government Land System customers, with dedicated facilities for such MRO and manufacturing sub systems set up at Chennai.
The company has been spearheading the Armoured Vehicle Repair and Technical Support vertical in India since the past 10 years in collaboration with the OEMs of Land System Equipment of Russian origin in service with the Indian Army.
In cooperation with our Russian tank OEM JSC "Uralvagonzavod" (UVZ), PCPLhas set up a state of artlocal technical repair and support centre in India for armoured vehicles namely T-72, T-90 and BMP-II. Our OEM has deputed multi-functional delegations to India in collaboration with PCPL to participate in the "Make in India" & “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” initiative of the Hon'ble Prime Minister with a view to improve the overall serviceability of Tanks and BMP-II.
PCPL has transfer of technology agreementwith UVZ and issupporting them with all the requisite infrastructure, import machinery & tools and calibration jigs and also imparting training to Indian personnel to undertake assembly of engine components and spare parts in India. The partnership agreement is in line with making India "Self-Reliant" and vastly enhances the availability by reducing the downtime of Tanks.
In order to support the Indigenisation initiatives of the Indian Government in the defence sector, PCPL is manufacturing the critical components of the land system equipment at Chennai facility.
We have recently developed a unique Handheld Anti Drone System, which was successfully demonstrated in Aero India 2021.
